This week I joined with colleagues at an animal event to provide education about how to support our animal family members.
I loved sharing as a presenter but I was also grateful to learn some new information and to be reminded of some important things I can do to support the health of my animals. I wanted to share this critical information with you because I know that if you're reading this you care for your animals as much as I do.
This is a very limited list so please use this as a jumping off point and continue to educate yourself about the dangers of toxins in our environments and how to support our animals, or as an added resource to your current library.

EWG is a wonderful website that provides the current information about the "shameful" household products. http://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners

Environmental toxins are something we can take control over and this site really impacted me as it is a tribute to Marco, a beagle who battled bladder cancer. We don't want to get lazy and then end up questioning what could we have done differently that might have prevented premature illness in our pets.

Food is where it all starts. What we are choosing to put into our pet's bodies is key in determining their health and this site provides some prime tips for healthy feeding and also brings light to some myths.

ALSO - I love raw feeding! I noticed marked improvement in my animals' energy levels, coat conditions and more, shortly after switching to raw several years ago. Check out world famous veterinarian Dr. Marty Golstein's website for information about raw feeding.

How Are You Doing? Animals are incredibly sensitive to our energy and stress levels. Our animal family members support us in so many ways and therefore we must be mindful of how our current state of being is impacting them. Take a moment and assess each day what you might need to focus on. Is it giving more attention to your spiritual life, exercise, eating healthier, counseling, etc? We can become so busy it can be easy to neglect ourselves but our animals will benefit if we take better care of our own emotional and physical health.

EO's. Diffusing (and other methods of use) essential oils is an excellent way to "clean up" our homes and counter the effects of harmful toxins. Get my FREE download - Insider Secrets To Using Essential Oils With Animals!
