Misty looks straight
at me and says, "Do you think I'm going to take that." Misty is telling me how she reacts to people and other horses if she is not happy. She has a "sassy" side and she let's people know how she is feeling.
Misty's person, Kellie, burst out laughing, “Does she ever."
Kellie, a fellow animal communicator, had some
questions for Misty, a horse in her mid-20's. "When it comes to my own
critters my heart blocks the messages even though my body still feels."

Often people would
like to be able to talk with their own animals and wonder if that will be
possible. In fact, our animals are often our greatest teachers. They encourage
us to open ourselves to listen to them. I am always delighted to see my
students achieving their goals through our work together. However, when there
are serious concerns with our animals, a concern might arise that we are open
enough to hear all that is being said.
Kellie wanted to
know if Misty's cancer diagnosis was causing Misty any pain? Misty refers to the cancer as
"inflammation" and it can cause joint pain. She also shows me one
ankle that has been injured that causes discomfort. She says that sometimes she loses balance.
"I would like for the swelling in my body to go down."
Kellie brought her
concerns to me and explained that she sensed that Misty is transitioning out of
her physical body. Wanting to know if Misty needed help, Kellie asked, "Am
I reading the signs wrong? Does she want assistance?" Misty felt to me
that she is "lighter" in her physical body but that she is not ready
to go. She says that energy work would help her right now to stay more centered
and in her body. It would help to smooth things out. She is not feeling that
she wants a 'shot' that would transition her. Misty explained, "I feel like I am still too
connected to this earth."
Animal communication
is information that comes directly from the animals. We learn about how the
animal is feeling and what they are thinking. It does not take the place of
good veterinary care and not intended to diagnose or treat illness. However,
the great news is that animal communication can be used in conjunction with
veterinary care to provide animals with a voice in their treatment.
