Ceasar

I recently spoke with Ceasar, a dog who lives in foster care through Eleventh Hour Rescue, Randolf, NJ. I have spoken with Ceasar in the past. If you are interested in adopting Ceasar, please following the link at the bottom of this blog.
Ceasar was boarded at a daycare for three days in June, foster mother is wondering how he felt about the environment/space?

Ceasar: “Boxy” shows image of a plain space, not spacious like at home. “Unpleasant air.” (My sense is this is not entirely smell that we as humans would pick up on).

Ceasar shows me a person with a more feminine energy stooping down and giving him something to eat. The person's energy very “bright yellow” in appearance. Feels like this person was good to him.

I would stay again but only for a short period of time. Not my favorite thing to do.

Does he trust his foster mother (as asked by his foster mother)?

Ceasar: Feels like he is still operating as an independent agent to some degree. He gets it more now that he is suppose to listen and feel that he can trust but it's still very difficult. He is also not sure how long he will be in this home which make it difficult for him to settle in.

Me: Ceasar's foster mother wants him to know he has a home there for as long as he needs.

Ceasar: Shows himself giving a sigh of relief and a big smile. He relaxes.

How is his energy compared to last year?

Ceasar: he feels more mature now. However, he feels but high strung. In future, the veterinarian may want to check for thyroid issues and/or adrenal issues. Feels like this could be relate to foster mother's concern that he never seems to be full/always wants more to eat.

Why he won't let his foster mother trim his nails?

Ceasar: paws feel like mitts, very heavy to me. When his nails are cut Ceasar is very sensitive to this and it feels extremely uncomfortable. He feels the sensation going through his paw. It's not a sharp pain but rather just feel “odd.”  I get that distracting & calming music might help in this process.
