Finding a Home; Risa

Yet a another purpose of animal communication can be to help find homes for animals.

I spoke recently with Risa, a foster dog from 11th Hour Rescue in Randolf, NJ.  Risa is currently living in a foster home with a cat and older dogs. Risa was brought from a southern state to NJ to prevent her from being euthanized.  Part of the purpose of our talk was to find out what kind of home Risa would like to be permanently placed in:

Risa
Risa: I would like a home with children. I want to play with them. I like to play. Also, I was born and lived outside for awhile.  So while I want to live inside I need people who will do some training with me in settling into being an indoor dog.

Knowing how Risa feels about the kind of home she would like is a wonderful asset. After all, if we were going to be moved from being outside to then being transported to another part of the country to a shelter and then to a temporary home (God bless those individuals who foster animals for providing this service), wouldn't we want to be able to provide some input on where their  forever home was going to be?

So the next time you are planning to adopt an animal, take a moment to ask them what their thoughts are.  If you are lacking in confidence about your ability to hear what the animals are saying you can always ask for the help of an animal communicator.
