Fasting and why I've been away from blogging
I undertook an intermittent fast from food and from social media (including blogging) for three Wednesdays and a few other days during March and into April. I did this fast for both spiritual and health reasons. Spiritually, it is supposed to help us draw closer to God or "Creator". Physically because I felt that Spring, being a time when our bodies are ready to "go lighter," was a good time to give my body a break.
Dogs don't go on Facebook.
I have found that fasting and also just eating lightly, through the years, lends itself to being more in alignment with the spiritual. Also, I do find that information comes along more rapidly from the animals and nature in general.
In eating less and not consuming caffeine, sugar, bread products (although I avoid gluten in general) or alcohol, I become more of an open vessel for telepathy. I found during this time that on the days when I did not eat, things just "flowed' better. There was nothing else to concentrate on other than what I had to do in that moment because energetically I just didn't have it in me to think in advance. During this process I drew closer to my Creator because I had to ask for help both to not eat something I might want but also for physical strength.
Also, not having the distraction of social media, such as Facebook produced very positive results. Energetically, sometimes these sites can just take us right out of our centerdness, producing a jarring feeling when one is trying to focus on the here and now.
Sad to end the fast
It is with some regret that I I have found that my body cannot handle longer fasts. At least for a awhile. It can be a little too "ungrounding" to fast too frequently in my own personal experience and with my current schedule, although I will continue to less intense fasts.
I would say that if you have no physical reason or health conditions that would indicate that fasting is not healthy for you, that it can be a great experiment in improving your telepathic animal communication skills.
